BEEF HAMBURGER PATTIES
Ingredients
500g lean beef mince
3 green onions, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small carrot, peeled & grated
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup BBQ Sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
50g salad leaves
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
4 bread rolls, split & toasted
BBQ Sauce, to serve
Method
Combine mince, onion, garlic, carrot, egg yolk and sauce in a large bowl.
Shape mixture into four 2cm-thick patties. Place on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add patties. Cooke for 4-5 minutes each side or until cooked through.
Place salad leaves, tomato and cucumber on roll bases. Top with patties, sauce and roll tops. Serve.
