We are currently seeking a motivated person to work as a cleaner within our meat processing facilities at Koallah Farm.
The successful candidate will be required for afternoon shifts and will working within our small cleaning team and report to our cleaner supervisor and QA Manager.
Responsibilities, not limited to;
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly forms
- Cleaning of Processing & Boning Rooms
- Cleaning staff amenities
- Cleaning processing machinery from meat and fat products
- Assemble and disassemble all meat equipment and machinery
- Cleaning benches, shelving, and chillers / cool rooms
- Rubbish removal
- Sweeping, Chemical foaming of floors, walls and ceilings
- General Cleaning Duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial or intensive cleaning
- Prepared to work afternoon shifts
- Be organised, have attention to detail to provide a high standard of service
- Be confident and self-motivated
- Have strong ethics and integrity, be honest, reliable and dedicated
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable and ability to work unsupervised
- Must be physically fit and healthy
- Willing to provide employment recommendations and criminal check report

Working with our administration staff, the successful applicant will report directly to the financial controller and interact daily with Directors and our management team.

- Bank Reconciliation
- Invoicing and preparing statements
- Data Entry
- Credit Control administration
- Payroll / Employee entitlement administration
- Preparation of performance and financial reporting templates
- Journal Entries
- General Administration / office tasks
Requirements
- Experience with XERO Accounting package preferred but not essential
- Must have thorough knowledge and skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be organised, have attention to detail
- Be confident and self-motivated to work in an unsupervised environment
- Have strong ethics and integrity, be honest, reliable and dedicated
- Display excellent customer service skills and presentation skills
- Willing to provide employment recommendations

We are currently seeking a motivated butcher to work over the busy period at Koallah Farm's on-farm processing facility.
The casual position would start immediately and run right through to Christmas 2016. Ongoing casual employment after Christmas may be an opportunity for the right person.
Responsibilities, not limited to;
- Breaking down beef, lamb and pork carcasses
- Slicing, boning and trimming meat for retail packaging
- Ensuring that all meat is handled and stored correctly
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Complying with all health, sanitation and legal regulations
- Complying with all company policies and procedures
Requirements;
- Experience in a quality retail butchery environment
